The best Pie Menu alternatives for Mac
Last updated
Pie Menu opens a ring of shortcuts around your pointer, with a different menu for each app. It's $39.99 once or $19.99 a year. If you want a radial menu for your Mac that costs less or does something different, here are the main alternatives. We make Helix, so weigh that pick accordingly.

Radial
A radial menu and automation tool from AppVerge in Denmark. Its menus can open apps, files and links, press keyboard shortcuts, insert text snippets, and run AppleScript or shell scripts, with submenus and menus that change with the app in front. €19.99 once for up to 5 Macs, with a 7-day trial. Needs macOS 15 Sequoia or later.
Radiant
Organizes shortcuts into radial menus of eight slots, or into list menus. Actions cover launching apps, opening URLs, sending keystrokes, running macros, managing windows and opening submenus, and it can open with a mouse button. $19 once, with a 30-day trial.
Loop
A free, open-source window manager: hold its trigger key and move your pointer in a direction to move and resize the front window. It's a radial menu for windows only, not a general launcher.
Helix
Where the others trigger what your apps already do, Helix brings its own tools. Hold ⌥Space and the ring opens your pinned apps, shows the song and playback while Spotify or Apple Music plays, and has clipboard history, notes, timers, screenshots and Ask AI. A tool's options fan out on an outer ring, like Clock's timer, stopwatch, Pomodoro and alarm.
It's the same in every app with nothing to set up, but you can't add your own shortcuts or scripts. $4.99₹399 once.
Prices are from each app's website in November 2026 and can differ by region.
