Terms
Last updated
These terms cover buying and using Helix, the Mac app. By buying or using Helix, you agree to them.
Your licence
Buying Helix gives you a personal licence to use it on one Mac at a time, for as long as you like. You can move it to another Mac by deactivating it on the old one. You may not resell, share or redistribute the app or your licence key, or try to get around its licence check.
Payment
Helix is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, the reseller of record. All sales are final, as the refund policy explains.
Updates
Every future update to Helix is included in your purchase at no extra cost. Helix checks for updates and installs them for you.
Ask AI
Ask AI uses your own API key from Anthropic (for Claude) or OpenAI (for GPT). That company bills you directly for that use, under its own terms. Answers come from AI models and can be wrong, so check anything important.
No warranty
Helix is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage from using it, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Helix.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
